About Me

I'm a Software Engineer and Computer Science graduate of U.C. Berkeley. I'm currently working as an engineer at Goldman Sachs. I'm always interested in learning new things and doing research. For more information about my research, check out my research page.

I'm originally from sunny San Diego. My passion for computers started at a young age as I started programming around 13 years old and began participating and leading a team in national and regional competitions in computing, cyber security, and programming theories.

Coding is an art. The way you code is your style, your signature. I believe all code should be simple, clear, but powerful. One of the most satisfying parts of programming is simplifying huge, complicated functions into a couple of compact, clear lines of code.

My aim is to use my skills in computation and development to positively impact the world we live in and build products that help people thrive.

Research

Currently, I am not doing any public research. Have an idea you'd like to chat about? Feel free to reach out via my contact page.

I have worked as a paid Research Associate at the Silver Lab at U.C. Berkeley. I studied how people can improve their attention, visual short term memory, spatial short term memory, and other cognitive abilities with the help of attention regulation training and video games. In this project, I focus on the technical side of things, including data visualization, creation of computerized metrics for measuring memory and attention, and data science.

In my free time I like to do some of my own research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with a special interest in artificial neural networks.
